Bro. Wilmer Biddy was born July 1, 1922 in the Pruitt Lake Community of Avinger to Spivey and Josie Biddy.
He served in the US Army during WWII. He married Gloria Ann Hall in 1944 and they had seven children. Gloria passed away on January 29, 1990.
Wilmer and Helen Morgan were joined in marriage on January 15, 1992. Together they have lovingly nurtured their family; Rodney, Bruce, Mark and Tracy Biddy, Keith and Randy Morgan, Brenda Salter, Vicki Carrington and Marsha Homer.
Wilmer has 14 Biddy grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He has six Morgan grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers C.L. and O'Neal Biddy; four sisters Myrtle Pendley, Obie Lee Zanders, Mary Lou Brazil and Annie Brown.
Wilmer was preceded in death by two brothers Bennie Earl and Elmer Joe Biddy; and four sisters LaVera Parvino, Mattie Rankin, Willie Breon and Osie Davis.
Wilmer was a dedicated employee of Lone Star Steel Company for approximately 35 years. He was an electrician.
Bro. Biddy was a Missionary Baptist Pastor for 53 years. He ordained into the ministry on December 4, 1955 at Pruitt Lake Baptist Church.

Raymond T. Rorie, 89, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. He was born on June 26, 1918 in NewNata, Arkansas, a son of the late William T. and Lula Cooper Rorie. He held the degree Doctor in Bible Languages. He was a passionate and caring minister who worked for 65 years as a Pastor in Stone County, Arkansas; Sonoma, California; Shawnee, Oklahoma; Ada, Oklahoma; Carlisle, Arkansas; North Little Rock, Arkansas; 27 years at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock; and Mountain View, Arkansas. He was baptized at the age of 15 and knew that he was called by God to preach the gospel. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Guila Richardson Rorie and four brothers.

Rev. George H. Raley, 71, of Calmer (Cleveland County), died Monday morning, April 7, 2008, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. A native of Lincoln County, Rev. Raley was born September 8, 1936 to the late Oscar and Pauline Raley. He graduated high school in Gould, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas and a Master in Bible Languages degree from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock.
Rev. Raley served as a pastor and campus minister for more than 50 years. He pastored Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church of Winchester; Enon Missionary Baptist Church of Rye; Grace Missionary Baptist Church of Jonesboro; Oaklawn Missionary Baptist Church of Hot Springs; First Missionary Baptist Church of Sherrill; and Central Missionary Baptist Church of Fayetteville. He also served as Director of the Missionary Baptist Student Fellowships at Arkansas State University of Jonesboro and Henderson & Ouachita Universities of Arkadelphia.
Bro. Raley was honored to have served as Moderator of the State Association of Missionary Baptist Churches of Arkansas in 1974 and 1975. He also served as President of the American Baptist Association in 2001 and 2002.
Bro. George loved people and filled his 71 years with a full life. He enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends, particularly on his farm in Drew County. He traveled extensively across the United States and around the world visiting with friends wherever he might be. He enjoyed snow skiing in New Mexico and particularly had a passion for riding four-wheelers with his grandchildren.
He loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and enjoying attending ball games in Little Rock and Fayetteville. While pastoring in Fayetteville he enjoyed meeting and visiting with several of the Razorback coaches.
